True Blood Season Four: Final Episode
“And When I Die”
Season four has wound down on True Blood HBO and I have to say that I have quite mixed feelings about the situation. It is always fun to come up with a nice analogy when you try to convey an opinion or view of something and if I were to compare this season to anything it would have to be a clumsy lover. There were teases and excitement along the way but plenty of disappointment as well! The finale was nothing different, either some thrills or chills but overall a letdown.
She’s Back
As you probably already know, Marny returned from beyond the grave to “possess” Lafayette. As a brand new medium who has no clue what to do with the magic inside, Lafayette is once again overtaken by a woman from the other side of the grave. Apparently, Marny has determined to get back at vampires, though she obviously has issues with the entire human race! (just one of the many story lines that has been left incomplete)
While she is in control, she ties up Lafayette’s lover in order to blackmail him into giving her/Lafayette the power that resides within and though he insists, it is a dark power she convinces him she will harm the body of his lover unless he complies. Out comes the horns and cartoonish facial features and in plunges the dagger that takes his life! Quite spectacular actually… Of course, you do have to wonder who has this power now? Did Marny take it into her spirit or is it residing in Lafayette?
Halloween
What would a show about witches, werewolves, vampires and other fairy tale creatures do without an adequate holiday to call their own? On the final episode of True Blood HBO, it is Halloween a night when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. (at least according to Holly). Terry and Arlene dress up for work as zombie’s, while Sookie stops by to offer her condolences to Sam and of course gets her job back.
As you will remember, it was Tommy in Sam’s body anyway, so…
Eric and Bill
For some odd reason Marny has decided that Bill and Eric will be the sacrifices she needs to avenge… well no one is sure quite what! (more of those clumsy starts and stops) With her newfound dark power and Lafayette’s body, she manages to kill all the guards and take the two ancient vampires captive. (remember what I said last week about unbelievable characters?)
Regardless, she has them silvered to a stake atop a pile of wood; I wonder what she is going to do? In the meantime in runs Sookie, Tara and Holly to rescue poor little old Bill and Eric. Holly manages to create a salt ring and ward to keep Marny away from the King and the sheriff, banishing Marny but not before, she ignites the pile of wood beneath the vampires!
While the women are protected, the they begin to chant, bringing forth the souls of those long dead to protect them and defeat Marny once and for all!
Bon Temps residents begin rising from their graves, but leave it to Gran to make everything better! (Why the producers and writers kept Adele’s murder in the story line who knows?) As the spirits begin to converge on Lafayette/Marny Sookie’s grandmother walks straight up to him/her (Lafayette/Marny) and reached down deep to draw out the possessing spirit. I have to admit this was quite a touching scene, Sookie was naturally crying at seeing her gran.
Renee
Gran is not the only dead Bon Temps resident to make a visit, Renee returns to warn Arlene. And isn’t that what any serial killer ex-boyfriend would do? Apparently, Terry Bellefleur’s army buddy is bad news all the way around.
Russell
The rumors are true… Russell Edgington is definitely free from his concrete and silver grave! Hmmm… at least he was an interesting character.
Cliff Hanger
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
If you are planning to watch the last episode of True Blood HBO vampire series you will probably want to stop right here!
After Marny is taken away by the resident ghosts, Sookie releases Bill and Eric, allowing them to feed from her so they can overcome their burns. Her love for the two of them has left her but one choice in the matter, since she cannot choose between them she leaves them both!
The final scene of True Blood season 4 is one many book lovers have been waiting for, once Alcide abjured Debbie and killed her lover she is out for blood! Fairy blood at that! Sookie returns from her heart-rending discussion with the vampire boys and sits down for a heartfelt conversation with Tara, which is rudely interrupted by a wild-eyed Debbie and a shotgun! She takes aim at Sookie, but just in the nick of time Tara lunges into the path of danger.
As you may or may not have guessed Sookie, summarily blows Debbie’s head off! As Sookie screams for help… the screen goes black and the credits begin to roll!
Will Season 5 of True Blood HBO be better than Season 4? That is really the only question left by this years “cliff hanger”, and I use the term quite loosely. Who really cares if Tara survives? Does anyone really think that both Sookies vampire lovers will rush to the scene? Yawn… Terry’s blast from the past is less than impressive….
Get it together True Blood writers! We want Quinn, We want Quinn! (and I think Billy Zane would be an excellent choice!)
Till next year yall…
True Blood Season Four: Soul of Fire

For one of the very few times this season I actually watched a complete episode, praying no one interrupted! Shocking moments were well placed and the pace of the action was good, which has been very rare to find this season. We are fast approaching the True Blood HBO season finale, and at least for me the feelings will be mixed.
Believable Characters
Throughout this season, I have personally struggled with why each episode has been such a disappointment. There have of course been the odd starts and stops, but it dawned on me with this episode what the true problem with true blood season four is, many of our favorite characters are simply not believable.
Sookie
This season Sookie has been as weak as milk toast and nothing she has done really makes sense. For instance, this week she joined the circle with Marny and the other witches knowing full well what this woman was all about. Why? Her lover is outside banned by a protection spell that will burn a vampire at first touch and yet she still jumps into the circle? Not buying it!
Moving right along to the fire ring, Sookie is standing in the middle of a ring of fire and she is screaming in mindless terror? Again, over done and nowhere near the reaction of the Sookie we have all come to know and love. Scream in rage? Yes! Call for Bill or Eric? Possibly!
Others
For the complete Season four of True Blood HBO it has been a remaking of characters, and in some instances it is working. A slightly tougher Jason is kind of nice all the while still leaving enough of his goofy self to make it believable.
Tougher Bill is also a bit believable, but the comment he and Eric make outside of Moon Goodess Emporium, simply does not make sense. F@&^g Sookie? Really? Come on writers, neither of them would have said that, let alone both of them!
It is kind of sad that the most believable characters this season have to be Terry and Arlene… and why do they matter?
Recap
Thankfully, through a series of events including Lafayette’s crazy weird boyfriend the protection spell over the witch’s haven is broken so that Bill and Eric can finally deal with Marny. Eric yanks the heart out of her only loyal lackey—
GROSS FACTOR! GROSS FACTOR!
We have seen a lot of blood, murder and weird crap in True Blood HBO seasons, but this week’s heart valve cocktail was just about the limit, at least for me! Eric sips away from the main artery like it is his very own cocktail straw! Can you say ewww?
Leaving Bill to finally end the necromancing witches reign of terror… or did he? At the end of tonight’s episode, Marny comes back to invade Lafayette! Next week is the last episode this season, and apparently, Bill and Eric are facing true death, AGAIN!
Bright Shining Moment
One other believable character this season is Alcide and finally he has kicked the V addicted trampy wolf to the curb! He Abjured Debbie this week! Book lovers you know what may happen next? Yea! One bright shining moment in a season of disappointments.
I personally do not know if the writers ever check out the fan sites… but I am hoping so! This season has had a couple of shining moments in nearly 12 episodes! Guys, get it together or this is one fan site that will not have much to say next season! True Blood HBO has been my guilty pleasure for 3 seasons….sad to contemplate it going!
True Blood HBO: Burning Down the House

He’s Back! Sexy Eric with his sarcastic comments and virile personality has returned to his fans! Throughout this season, it has been a Hodge podge of experiences very loosely strung together. To be perfectly honest True Blood HBO season 4 has as a whole been utterly disappointing. Too many starts and abrupt stops to the story lines coupled with poorly written lines.
Stops and Starts
• Fairies- Claudine and Claude were teasers in the first couple of episode and now they are just gone?
• Jason and Hotshot- no more word on Crystal? Where are the were panthers?
• Mavis- who was that Cajun woman? Talk about a random storyline! Could they have not at least connected her to a current Bon Temps resident?
• Baby Mikey- was the weird stuff all Mavis? What about the time Arlene’s eye when blood red?
• Terry Bellfleur- is there a point?
Sookie and Eric
Under Marny/Antonia’s control, Eric has one mission, kill the king! Which of course is none other than Mr. Bill Compton. During the melee, Bill shoots Eric with silver and prompts a cry of outrage from Sookie, who proceeds to intervene between the two vampires. The spell over Eric is so powerful however; he throws her aside and proceeds to stake Bill. At this point, Sookie has had enough and it is Fairy juice to the rescue! This shot of white light is powerful enough to break Marny’s spell on Eric and return every memory. We will have to wait and see just how this impacts their relationship, especially once she told Eric that she loved him and Bill both!
Tommy Mickens
By this time you would think that Sam’s little troublesome brother would have already exited stage left even. Yet here is he still tinkering around, but this time he has bit off more than he can chew. Tommy skin walks again as Sam to meet the were wolf pack leader who also happens to be the ex-husband of Sam’s new love interest, and the beatings commence!
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
Skin walking or the beating damage Tommy past the point of return and he refuses vampire blood or a hospital. Tommy dies on the pool table at Merlotte’s.
Split Personality
Big shocker, Marny is not the innocent bystander overtaken by the vengeful witch from the past. At this point, she is an active participant striking out at anyone and everyone. Her conversation with Antonia this week shows there is a deeper psychosis going on!
After the attack at the Dorchester hotel Marny and Antonia, seem to have a parting of the ways about proceeding with plans to wipe out the vampire menace. Antonia is moved with compassion for the carnage that was unleashed. Marny however is able to convince her that collateral damage is to be expected.
Showdown
Bill determines the only way to protect vampires from the ancient witch is to destroy her and her human host in the same manner Antonia was destroyed 400 years ago, fire! While Nan Flannigan rants and raves in silver Bill makes plans, including ordering enough firepower to blow up Moon Goddess Emporium. Of course, Sookie is not exactly thrilled with the idea of losing her friend Tara in the process.
Sookie enlists the help of Jason, Jesus and Lafayette. Jesus believes that Marny is an innocent host to the angry witch and thinks if he can just reach her, he can pull the same trick with Antonia that he did with Mavis. Boy, is he in for a rude awakening!
Until Next Week-
Are Sookie and Lafayette inside Moon Goddess Emporium? Will everyone die? Previews for next week show a vampire squad bent on blowing the place sky high!
True Blood Season Four: Let’s Get Out of Here

With hopes high, we tuned in for this week’s True Blood HBO vampire series. To say that this season has been rocky going, at least for this fan, is putting it mildly. There are very few episodes this year that have left me wanting more, and this week unfortunately was not an exception. This story line is dragging out, with very little of what it is that made True Blood HBO great. Not only are we trudging through quicksand we also have to deal with inconsequential ghost story lines! Did no one think that they should tie Mavis’s character to a current Bon Temps resident? She simply picked Arlene’s baby out of the crowd? Recap of episode 9 of True Blood HBO, Let’s Get Out of Here:
Sam, Tommy and Luna
Even though Sam has yet again thrown Tommy out of his life, the little pup keeps coming back! In truth, it is a little bizarre; he obviously does not care about Sam so why he keeps hanging around is a mystery. Tommy shows up at the bar to leave Sam a note, presumably, before he leaves town, and runs into the pack master from Shreveport. Marcus leaves his own dire message, tell Sam to come to the shop for a discussion. What does smart one do? Skinwalks as Sam to go meet the were’s! Needless to say, his smart mouth and attitude get the fire beat out of him, which promptly turns him back to his true self.
Jessica
A character that has had so much promise in seasons past is floundering. Jessica is upset and crying to Nan Flannigan about her treatment at the hands of Hoyt and Jason. Whining and crying that was a bit overdone! Where is the young, sexy but a tad bit willful and clueless Jessica the fans have come to love? Apparently beginning a relationship with Jason Stackhouse! Yep, Jason delivers a box of her things from Hoyt, only to end up in the back of his truck with her having a rocking good time.
Marnie
Apparently, Marnie is hell-bent to make all vampires pay, after the chaos in the cemetery she takes Eric back to Moon Goddess Emporium. Her plan is to take Eric to the tolerance gathering in Shreveport and wreak havoc. A particular goal on her mind is assassinating Bill Compton! Of course, her loyal band of fellow witches are not as enthused with the plans and attempt to defect which earns them a dire warning, do not leave or else! Or else what you never find out, a few who try to open the doors she placed a spell on receive a nasty burn for their trouble.
Sookie
After being shot in the cemetery apparently, Bill is able to escape from his captors and rush to her side, encouraging her to drink his blood. Of course, she finally does and sits up from her near death state to ask where Eric is and despite the frustration of Alcide Sookie presses the issue. At this point, this little exchange does not make a whole lot of sense. So Alcide is fed up… and we care why? It is not like he has been a central character to this point and he definitely is not in Sookie’s life so again… why does anyone care that he is done?
No recap of this week’s episode is complete without touching on her dream scenes. Now that she has had both Bill and Eric’s blood, her sexy dreams include both vampires. Can you say, “been done to death?” how many times do we have to see these little interludes after a blood exchange to understand it causes…feelings? We Get It!!
Lafayette
Possessed by some Cajun woman named Mavis, Lafayette breaks into the Bellfleur house taking Mikey and Andy’s gun. Apparently, in her lifetime she lived in Hoyt’s house, so she promptly kicks him out of the home at gunpoint. After a couple of tense moments with V addicted Andy fighting with Terry, gun shots and craziness Lafayette’s witch boyfriend comes into the picture and leads Mavis to understanding she is no longer alive nor is her child.
Final Thoughts
Well after a couple of good weeks we are back to dragging along. Storylines are not making sense or being dropped awkwardly. And don’t even get me started on the Debbie situation… she follows Alcide, scores some V and goes to Sookies, but to help? Perhaps next week will be better!
True Blood Season Four Episode 8: Spellbound
True Blood Season Four: Spellbound

True Blood HBO is finally gaining some momentum, even though some important story lines seem to be lagging a bit you are at least left wishing there was more show at the end of the episode! This episode was good enough that the producers only left one single tiny teaser for next week; someone getting a little cocky are we? Regardless, this week worked on several levels.
Jessica
The burning question (yes, the pun was fully intended), from last week was how many vampires would be forced to meet the sun thanks to Antonia’s spell casting ability. Of particular note was Jessica’s mad dash for the front door after breaking her chains and killing a guard.
Thankfully, Jason Stackhouse had a heads up from Sookie and was headed full throttle for the Compton mansion. He tackles her at the last minute, forcing her back inside and out of the sun. Of course, the witches also cease their chanting in the nick of time as well. Otherwise, Jason might have been an empty sack of bones!
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
Writers are seeking shock value again, which is what True Blood HBO is known for! In one shocking scene Jessica heads home to tell Hoyt, she want to move out which sends him into a tailspin. He argues with Jess, telling her he would rather be dead, he cannot live without her! His constant requests to die are met by a vicious Jessica who slams his head down on the counter and says…”die then!”. Right before Jess wakes up!!
She does break up with Hoyt this week, but instead of breaking down in tears, he becomes quite angry! Cursing vampires and throwing her out of the house. Her reception at Jason’s is not much better, since Hoyt is his best friend Jason has little choice but to rescind her invitation leaving her crying bloody tears outside.
Cajun Ghost and Mikey
All this time you have been led to believe the baby is Renee’s and is either being haunted by his dead serial killing father or is somehow evil. When the Cajun ghost woman comes into the picture, however it is hard to tell where the writers are going with the story. Until this week, apparently when she was alive she had an affair with a married white man, (looks to be sometime in the 20’s) and somehow her child winds up dead. The ghost is back for her baby and in pursuit of the… (Drumroll please…) Bellefleurs? What!
Perhaps she is only there, via Lafayette’s body to get the baby, since Terry and Arlene are staying there!
Eric and Sookie
Sookie has her hands full keeping Eric silvered in his hidey-hole. The typical Sookie story lines are somewhat lax this season, she barely uses her powers and has taken a back seat to the witches and vampire politics. Of course, fans of Eric and Sookie will be well satisfied with their scenes. This week book lovers will finally get the shower scene… well sort of. At least the gratuitous shots of Eric’s backside are plentiful. One little side note, if the writers are listening, the saccharin sweet demeanor of Eric is getting old!
Witches and Vampires
In a bid to finally end the spells King Bill discusses a meeting with Marnie. They agree to meet in the cemetery outside Bon Temps, alone! As if, either of them were going out in the middle of the night to meet without backup!
What results is a mini-war, which Charlain Harris fans may slightly recognize. Guns blazing, fog floating and fangs are bared as each side determines peace is a laughable concept. Who will survive? A brief synopsis of the results:
• Sookie takes a bullet and falls among the stones
• Bill commands Pam to leave Tara alone now and forever or face the true death
• Eric is controlled completely by Marnie
• Alcide rushes in among the mist to save Sookie (though his pack master has insisted all wolves stay out of the war and he promises Debbie he will not try to help Sookie)
• Debbi, in wolf form is dead on his heels
Preview for Next Week
Sookie barely has a pulse, and despite Bills best efforts she will not drink! Yep, that is it, nothing more! Tune in next Sunday…
True Blood Season 4 Episode 7: Cold Grey Light of Dawn

Finally! The action ramps up on True Blood HBO! The first few episodes were questionable but Cold Grey Light of Dawn has finally left you begging for more and screaming at your television. If you missed True Blood HBO this week, head over to HBO-Go and check it out. A brief recap of what you can expect, as always understand that there will be a spoiler or two contained below.
Marnie
Marnie may be locked in the dungeon below King Bill’s house, but she is still managing to communicate with spirits of the past. Antonia, the necromancer witch from the time of the Spanish inquisition has come to visit and determined it is time to exact even more revenge. As the story goes, she was a witch due to be burned at the stake for her “crimes”. While she was locked up, the local vampires took turns raping and feeding on her. Unfortunately, for them she was a quite powerful witch and managed to make all the vampires for a 20-mile radius walk into the sun, and now that she is back, Bill is pretty sure the vamps are in trouble.
Silver Preparation
To fight the coming spell Bill orders all his sheriffs to evacuate the vampires from their area and those who remain are to chain themselves with silver. Silver as you might remember is quite painful to vampire skin, but is the only hope they have of keeping themselves in their coffins when Marnie begins casting her spell!
As dawn approaches Bill chains Jessica and himself in the basement, Sookie chains Eric and Pam is regulated to her coffin along with a silver chain mail type sheet for covering. Burning flesh and groans of agony accompany the preparations.
Sun Calling
Fresh off a rather intense encounter with Pam, who promises to end her life, Tara runs into Marnie in the woods. Antonia/Marnie talks Tara into joining with her to avenge all the wrongs done by vampires to humans. Angry and scared she sets about gathering as many people as possible to fill the circle. When the group comes, together Marnie culls a few who are not fully committed and then begins the spell that will call vampires out of the dark and into the light.
Meeting the Sun
Toward the end of this episode of True Blood HBO, Jessica manages to break free of her silver chains. Not even a command from her maker could turn her back, though apparently Bill merely wanted her to release him from his silver bonds! As the episode ends, Jason races to prevent Jess from meeting the sun… he makes it just before she opens the door, but is tackled by a guard! Will he save her?
Finally, finally, finally! True Blood is firing up and getting exciting! Unfortunately, there are a mere five episodes left before we will be hanging, wondering…
True Blood Season 4: I Wish I Was the Moon

Since episode one of True Blood, HBO vampire series we have been teased with hints of the true death for the sheriff of area 5, AKA Eric Northman! This is the episode where this little ordeal is played out. With all of Eric’s die hard fans just waiting to go on strike, King Bill arrests Eric because he is under the influence of necromancers. (Yeah, the fact that Eric and Sookie were in the middle of some hot and heavy petting had NOTHING to do with it!) This weeks recap:
Tommy and Sam
As you may remember last week Tommy killed both of his parents. Yep, his old man was about to chain him up and use him in the pits, when Tommy loses it and kills first Jolie and then his Mama. Think back a few episodes, do you remember the discussion amongst the shifters concerning the strangest thing they had ever shifted into? Luna’s story was particularly captivating, shifting into her own mother! Skinwalkers, is what she called shifters who could perform this little trick and the requirement is to kill a member of your family!
Apparently Tommy did not get this memo, and during pseudo melt down he all the sudden shifts into none other than your friendly neighborhood bar keep, Sam Merlotte. I predict that Tommy is going to wreak havoc on Sam’s life! He already has a good start, he fired Sookie and slept with Luna then tossed her out of Sam’s place like the garbage.
Tara Thornton
Is anyone else tired of this character’s whining? We get it Tara, your childhood sucked, you hate Bon Temps and vampires!! Leave already, no one is trying to keep you in town or on the show. There have been points where Tara was alright and added a little flavor to the mix, but seriously get over it already.
Cold Blooded Bill
Was anyone else shocked at just how cold and calculating Bill has become? It wasn’t really surprising that he took Eric in custody after finding him in hot little embrace with Sookie, but damn. If you missed this weeks episode, the tit for tat between Bill and Sookie is worth the trouble! Top that off with a request to Nan Flannigan for a true death warrant and wow!
Arlene
Creepy baby and weird looking doll round out Arlene and Terry’s life to this point. After the house mysteriously catches on fire, the couple search frantically for the baby, only to discover he was outside all along. Where did that evil looking doll come from and who in the world is the woman only little Mikey can see?
Jason Stackhouse
Are there sparks flying between Jason and Jessica? Sharing vampire blood can get you into so much trouble. If wet dreams about his best friends girl (and best friend) are not enough it’s a full moon and Jason is pretty sure the life of a were panther is on the horizon.
Eric
The constant little boy lost demeanor wore a bit thin, but he is blonde and sexy so we will forgive the writers! They have actually stayed pretty true to the book series in that respect, so… Besides this weeks dialogue more than made up for all the silliness, especially when he says, “Tell, Sookie, I was born the night she found me, and because of her I went to my true death knowing what it means to love…”
Apparently Bill was as moved as we were because at the end of this weeks episode of True Blood HBO, Eric and Sookie run into each other in the woods, and make love beneath the full moon.
Until Next Week!
True Blood Season Four: Me and the Devil

Does anyone else think this season of True Blood HBO is dragging? Slow seems to be the word of the day when it comes to Sookie and Eric’s relationship as well as the overall story line. Generally when watching True Blood you cannot wait to see next week’s episode, and yet this season I find myself wondering why I watched the current episode! Here is a brief recap of what has happened in episode five, Me and the Devil.
Tommy
When last we seen Tommy Mickens his daddy had him by the throat preparing to chain him out. Have no fear Tommy comes up swinging and makes short work of both Jolie and his “mamma”. Pipe in hand mamma and daddy are bloody and dead in short order. Where does he run? Sam Merlotte of course, who jumps in the van to help little brother dispose of the body.
Arlene and Terry
Apparently either the baby is very advanced or a ghost is floating around leaving cryptic messages on the wall. “Baby not Yours” scrawled upon the wall is enough to send this fun couple to seek the help of a higher power. Tara Thornton’s mother and her new husband Reverend Davis proceed to sing, pray and burn sage to drive out the evil spirit. We will see how long that lasts!
Eric and Sookie
Eric has a bad dream and slips into Sookie’s room for a little care and comfort! I don’t know about the rest of the True Blood HBO fans, but big tall blond Viking vampire Eric Northman standing their shirtless saying “I had a bad dream” was a bit goofy, but admittedly a little sexy. Just a little however!
Sookie
Sookie has once again taken upon herself to begin poking around in people’s brain looking for the truth about what happened to Eric. She first seeks information from barmaid Holly, but alas she was freaked out enough to leave Moon Goddess emporium. One interesting interlude did occur between Sookie and Marnie, as the witch worked on her reading, Sookie began “listening” to her thoughts. When Marnie began relaying messages from Gran, things got interesting. Not only did she tell her not to fall for Eric, she also told her to get away from the witch! Run, Sookie, Run!
Conclusion
In the end Pam slips up and lets the cat out of the bag to Bill about where Eric has been staying. True to form, Bill disappears in a whoosh with bloodlust written all over his face! Next week’s previews show Bill taking Eric prisoner and suggesting the True Death! I will state now unequivocally, if this comes to pass True Blood HBO will become a show I USED to watch!
True Blood Season 4- I’m Alive and On Fire

This week’s episode of True Blood is going the extra mile to build suspense! Finally! Though fans of Charlain Harris’s Southern Vampire series may feel a bit confused, there is still an air of excitement to see what is going to happen next week! Here is a bit of what you missed on True Blood HBO, “I’m Alive and on fire.”
Eric and Fairy Blood
At the end of last week’s episode Eric, guilessly empties Sookie’s Fairy Godmother. This week you find out just what kind of effect that much pure fairy juice has on a vampire! Eric is downright hilariously drunk and despite Sookie’s insistence that he return to the house and his hidey-hole, he sprints off into the darkness laughing.
Jason
Fast forward to Hotshot where poor Jason Stackhouse is still battered, bruised and tied to a bed in the little shanty and being used for stud service to all the would be panther mommies. It is painful to watch in all honesty! Thankfully when the young girl enters for her “turn” Jason is able to impress upon her how sex should be, a special occasion with someone because you want to and not because you have been ordered to procreate!
Jason manages to escape but Felton is right on his heals along with a couple of other were-panthers. In the course of the run through the woods, he also runs into Crazy Crystal (my designation) who he also threatens to kill. Why she thinks Hotshot is the only place he will be welcome is beyond me, it really does not make a lot of sense even knowing he is likely to change into a panther doesn’t explain that.
Witches
Marny is having her own weird encounters this week when she is transported back to a witch burning and a dark haired witch repeating the same mantra repeatedly. Apparently, this is the witch referred to by Nan Flannigan when she and Bill discuss the necessity of dealing with the necromancing witches. Apparently, she was quite powerful and had a huge grudge against vampires.
Lafayette, Tara and Jesús have gone to Pam to throw themselves on her mercy and figure out how to make amends for the bewitching of Eric Northman. Of course, Tara is packing heat loaded with wooden bullets, let’s not be stupid! Pam is less than impressed by their little ragamuffin posse, but is at least willing to bargain. 24 hours for them to deliver the witch, Marny, to her or else.
Melting Face
When the group of would be witches, Tara and Pam meet in the woods for a reversal of the spell on Eric things seem to be going along nicely, that is until Marny’s eyes flame and she begins speaking in Spanish! Very shortly poor Pam’s face is blistered and peeling away.
Sookie and Eric
Goofy Eric is a hoot, but come on True Blood HBO it is time to ramp it up a bit don’t ya think? This dumb act is only going to stay interesting for so long, oops times up! So far this season of True Blood has been all tease and no delivery, and not even a very good tease at that. HBO be advised, heat up the screen and move it along a little faster or risk losing fans! Just one viewers opinion tune in to see what you think!
True Blood Season Four: If You Love Me Why am I Dying?

Season four did not get off to a rocking start and though episode two moved it up a notch or two, episode three may have die-hard Charlaine Harris book fans shaking their heads in confusion. We are heading toward the Eric/ Sookie affair, but there are some major differences between the show and the books here. Nevertheless, I digress, what can you expect from this week’s episode?
Sexy Viking Vampire
Eric fans are going to love this episode; a shirtless Alexander Skarsgard with a lost puppy dog look is nearly irresistible! I will give credit where credit is due; he is pulling off the kinder, gentler lost Eric wonderfully. If you can believe it he even looks like a different character, which if you read the books is exactly what you would expect.
One question does remain however, who in the heck is the woman taking over the necromancing witch’s body? The flashes between Marny’s face and some unnamed woman are somewhat reminiscent of what you saw in Camelot this season. Questions, questions and more questions!
Bill’s Makeover
Another really surprising thing emerging in this season of True Blood HBO series is a Bill Compton makeover. Not only is he now King of Louisiana, he seems to have grown a completely new personality as well. Confident, suave, powerful with a little dash of sexy thrown in for good measure. No more of the simpering begging Bill that was so prevalent in the first three seasons of True Blood. Perhaps losing his maker has allowed him to blossom, or maybe we are just now beginning to see the real Bill.
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
All New Jason
Apparently satisfying the leadership of inbred hotshot entails becoming a were-panther and satisfying the entire female population as well. Jason Stackhouse has awoken to an evil twist on his prior philandering ways. After being ripped up by Crystal and Felton in their panther forms, he is still tied to a bed, hopped up on Chinese Viagra as each female in the pack waits her turn to improve the panther bloodline.
Bad Fairy Godmother?
If you are a Sookie Stackhouse book fan, you know that Claudine is the “good” fairy throughout the series. In this season of True Blood, HBO series creator seems to be indicating that Claude will be the selfless one and Claudine is questionable. She pops back in to convince Sookie to return to the land of the Fae, why she thought she would go is beyond most of us but… of course Eric puts an end to her invitation and perhaps Claudine herself? After feeding on her for a few seconds, Claudine reverts to the creepy fairy form seen in the first episode and explodes into dust. Where is Claudine really?
In addition, how many more goofy quotes are we going to have to deal with while Eric is out of his mind? Until next week Trubies!
